These designs and animations were made within my 3D project and within my own personal free time.
This piece of work is from my initial ideas within my 3D design course. These ideas involve creating an insect that is 'cartoony'. Therefore, I had created these unusual yet 'cartoony' designs. For example, the insect on the top right has a very unusual mouth, meaning that it would look 'cartoony' to those viewing the insect.
This page shows my development from my original ideas. I experimented with different techniques such as morphing the original ideas together, changing the design's functional look and to change its viewpoint.
After finishing my development, I created a final design that placed the insect within its chosen environment. I used pencil and oil pastels to show that the environment is a dangerous location. This should signify that the insect was a villain.
This design was made within 'Photoshop'. I wanted to make this to simulate a background that an animation could take place in. In my opinion, I find that this background could be used within an animation that take place within a dangerous or hazardous environment.
This teddy bear design was made within the program 'Blender'. I made this by using different fur physics to structure the design from simple polygons. This was then coloured in various shades of brown and black, ensuring that it looks like a teddy bear. Using this within an animation could be possible as a prop within a background.
This design was created within blender. I made a simple sphere that was then broken up into many pieces. This allowed the cracked effect of the 'planet' to appear. I also added an inner glow within the sphere to simulate a core. Finally, I added a faint black background with small white stars. This makes it look like a planet has exploded within space.
This design was made within 'Blender'. I used water physics and glossy effects to allow the word to appear as though it was ice. I believe that this can be used within certain titles or logos featured within several animations.
This initial idea was created within a 3D design project. It was created to fit in with a child's wallpaper. This was accomplished with the media that I had initially chosen, that being pencil. It gave the design a childish look, similar to what might be expected within the children's wallpaper. To use in animation, I could show this as a wallpaper featured within a family house.
This development was made to experiment with the media and overall positions of the monkey. I decided to use permanent markers and fine liners. This had allowed the wallpaper design to look more professional, even as it was featured onto a children's wallpaper.
This final design had combined my developments with the initial ideas, and I created a wallpaper design that was both aesthetically pleasing and economically great. As well as this, if I used a similar wallpaper design within an animation, then I could create it easily because the colours used are very bright and vibrant, meaning that audience members can see these animations.
This initial idea was made within a 3D design project. I have used card, pencil and pen to create a collage of a stamp reflecting the theme 'Le Tour de Yorkshire'. Below this, I have used pro-markers and fine liner to create another stamp design. These would then be later altered on 'Photoshop' to ensure that they look professional.
This development shows my initial idea changing into a more professional stamp that reflects the theme. Using computer editing software such as 'Photoshop' can allow use of editing animation designs within software such as 'Flash'.
This animation as been made within the program 'Blender'. I wanted to test out the particles with letters, by making them disperse. In doing so I have made the dissolving look smooth by removing any unneeded particles within the frames.(The animation will play by using this YouTube link).

This animation was made within 'Blender'. I wanted to test the destructibility of animation by using a wrecking ball to swing directly at a 8X8X8, wooden textured block. What resulted is a destruction of a lot of mini wooden blocks. Doing this, can allow me to create even more destructive animation sequences in the future.
